One of the most common questions we get asked time and time again at Just Clear is:

“Are you licensed waste carriers?”

We are, and this is a very good question, since households could be fined up to £400 if they pay an unauthorised “man in a van” to take away rubbish under plans announced on January 15th, 2018 to tackle fly-tipping. Many people do not realise that it is already illegal to allow an unauthorised person to remove your waste and you should always ensure that anyone who is removing waste or rubbish, or clearing your house, has the correct licences, as we do.

In addition, Just Clear is a multi-award winning organisation in environmental practice. Our commitment to our environmental policy of “zero to landfill” saw us win Circular Economy Project of the Year in 2016. In 2017, Just Clear was awarded Silver membership of The Green Organisation, one of the world’s leading environment groups. Membership is restricted to companies, councils and communities that can demonstrate the effective measures they have introduced for environmental benefit.

A spokesman for The Green Organisation, has commented: “Just Clear practice what they preach about environmental concerns and they are actively adopting measures that will continue to improve their environmental performance for generations to come.”
