We are thrilled to announce that for our efforts towards waste commoditisation, we have been shortlisted in the Recycling Excellence category at the National Recycling Awards this year.

The awards recognise the recycling efforts and initiatives carried out by those key players within our industry.  With more than 700 people likely to attend, we are proud to be a part of the only cross-sector recycling and waste management event there is.

Brendan O’Shea, Just Clear’s founder and Managing Director, said ” We are seeing more and more people committing to eco-friendly practices. As the UK’s most trusted house clearance service, we always ensure that our strong social and environmental principles will always come into play, and that is something people can rely on.

“We are so pleased that the National Recycling Awards have noticed our efforts again this year, and that we have been given another opportunity to promote and encourage environmentally-friendly initiatives”.

Our zero-to-landfill policy

The average household in the UK produces more than a tonne of waste every year, with new government plans there is a target for the UK to recycle at least 50% of household waste by the end of 2020.

With all our house clearance services, we have committed to a zero-to-landfill policy. We endeavour to recycle and donate as much as we can to minimize the amount of waste we take to the tip, finding a new life for your unwanted items. We see waste as a commodity, rather than junk; as they say, one person’s rubbish is another’s treasure.

If you would like to learn how we can help you, you can see our list of services here. As a national business, we operate across the UK, from rubbish removal in Reading to house clearance in Fareham, Putney, Edinburgh and elsewhere! Get in touch for a quote today.
